Hello,
The report says your wife has a stone of 8.6×6.4 mm in the midportion of the kidney also called mid pole. Another is of 3mm at the lower end of the kidney also called lower pole. Another stone at the uretero-pelvic junction of 4mm. The following are my recommendations:
1) As these stones are less than 0.5cm, you can manage conservatively by drinking more water
2) Most of the times, the stone travels through ureter and is passed in urine
3) If there is
severe pain, tab.
Urispas is recommended
Another finding in the report is
uterine fibroid which is a mass arising from the wall of
uterus into its lumen. Most of the times, if the following symptoms are present, the fibroid is to be removed by surgery:
1) Irregular menstruation
2) Heavy menstrual bleeding
3) Bleeding between the periods
4) Severe pain during menstruation
5) Infertility
Please do
consult a nephrologist for urinary stones and gynecologist if necessary for fibroid.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
