Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
what this is mean there are suspicious densities on the right suprahilar region partly overlying bony structures.the rest of visualized structures are grossly unremarkable. conclusion:apico-lordotic view is suggested this the result of my chest pa xray, what this is mean?why i need another xray?
I have gone through your question and I understand your concern. Since x-rays are 2 dimensional images of 3 dimensional objects of the body, therefore sometimes the opacities or structures visualized on x-ray need to be visualized on another view so that normal overlying structures causing suspicious shadowing on the xray image are not considered as a pathological abnormality. What is apparent to me from your xray is that your consulting physician is trying to visualize the suspicious area on another view to make sure that the shadowing is not because of overlying structures.
I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns. Wishing you good health.
