General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Thank you for contacting HCM.

I have gone through your question and firstly I would like to reassure you that hopefully with time the pain will subside. As far as your MRI report is concerned, there are two areas of concern to rule out stenosis...first is the spinal canal stenosis and the second is the exiting neural foraminae stenosis.
As your report indicates there are only mild changes effecting both these areas so hopefully the pain you are feeling is not because of these stenosis.
However, in patients who have DDD ( degenerative disc disease), who have only disease of the disc without causing herniation, can cause localized pain and may require pain management.

I would suggest you consult your local physician for clinical evaluation and further management such as pain meds and physiotherapy if indicated clinically.
The pain of spinal diseases last for considerable amount of time but is treatable and you will get through this phase with strength and strong will power.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact HCM again if you have any concerns.
Wishing you good health.
