Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

As your doctor rightly said, your body's immune system has won here, and there is no active viral replication (hence HBeAg negative and anti-HBeAg positive). Viral load also is very low. No antiviral treatment is needed as of now, although we need regular follow up. Also, use barrier protection / condom while having sex to avoid transferring to spouse.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
