Hello and welcome to HCM, The history suggests that you are suffering from abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). The hormone treatment has regularized the menstrual cycle but the duration is prolonged and I assume that bleeding is also heavy. The problem is probably hormonal. Pain in left iliac fossa is most probably related to menstrual cycles. I suggest you to get some more investigations to know the exact cause of AUB. I am of the opinion that you should undergo endometrial biopsy or curreting to assess the status of the endometrial glands and stroma. If you are facing problem in conceiving, a follicular scan should be done to observe the formation of follicle and ovulation. You need to consult your gynecologist for these investigations.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
