What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?
Hello Doctor, I am 30 years old and having my first pregnancy. I am currently at 34 weeks gestational age. I have a condition of COMPLETE PLACENTA PREAVIA. I observed one blood clot on 5th July and one more on 6th July . After that there is no bleeding at all. Fetal heart beat, weight and fetal movements are all fine. EDD as per early pregnancy scan was 21-8-2016. But due to placenta praevia, Doctor will go for a Cesarean on 6-8-2016. My doctor has prescribed for 2 doses of injection betnesol 12mg. My query are :: 1. Since the delivery is planeed after 37 weeks of pregnancy, if i DO NOT take betnesol dose, will it affect the baby in anyway? 2. Is there any side effect of betnesol on the baby ? Thanks

Use to give in Betnesol to reduce neonatal respiratory morbidity and mortality from preterm delivery. No harm in giving no side effect.
