Hello,

The report mentions the status of the fetus, placenta, and the fluids. There is only a single fetus, which is live and its location is inside the uterus, which is the normal position of implantation. The fetus is 20 weeks and 6 days old, calculated from the length, head circumference and other parameters of fetus (like femur length, abdominal circumference). The heart beat and body movements are good and appropriate.

The fetus is lying in such a way that the head (cephalic) of fetus is toward the lower end of uterus (please note that the presentation of fetus can change throughout pregnancy). Placental grading refers level of maturity of placenta. The grade increases as the pregnancy approaches term. Grade 1 is appropriate for 20 weeks gestation. Placenta is anteriorly attached to the uterine wall the location can change as pregnancy progresses.

Normohydramnios: Indicates that the amniotic fluid content is adequate and it is not too low (oligohydramnios) or too high (polyhydramnios). Based on fetal parameters and gestational age, required weight is 419+/- 88, in your case is appropriate for the gestational age.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Meera Rajeev
