What Does My Lab Test Report Indicate?

In my sonography of whole abdomen report it is mentioned that I have mild fullness of pelvi calyceal of left kidney. Further it is mentioned that the fullness could be due to lower ureteric odema after passing of recently tiny calculi. Please expain the same.

Let me assure you first of all that you are fine and need not to panic.

As per the report, urine collecting system of your left kidney is dilated and the explanation for this dilatation may be due to narrowing of diameter of left ureter connecting the left kidney collecting system below. The narrowing may be due to the reaction caused by irritation of ureter by the tiny stone that was flushed in urine.

Drink plenty of fluid and take the medication your doctor prescribed you and you will surely be alright within 20 days.
