What Does My Lab Test Result Indicate?

What does sinuses show mild chronic left foraminal and minimal maxillary mucosal thickening mean? What does there are a few areas of gliosis in the right frontal white matter chronic mean? What does minimal ectopia of the right-sided cerebellar tonsil without significant Chiari malformation mean?

The picture of the sinuses is that of chronic sinusitis. Chronic inflammation/ recurrent infections of the sinuses leads to mucosal thickening.

Areas of gliosis represent areas of healed previous damage within the brain. This could be old small non-significant infarctions (defect in blood supply). This has to be correlated clinically.

Minimal ectopia of the cerebellar tonsils means they are slightly descended below their normal positions. This also has to be correlated clinically. It could be a normal variant.
