What Does My Liver Function Test Result Despite Regular Exercise Indicate?
I am a fitness professional. Teaching 8 spin/cycle classes per week 45 min high intensity each.Also, teaching 3 strength and conditioning classes/week.Also, my own work out 4-5 days.I do not take any supplements, vitamins etc. never have.I have a few glasses of wine/week.I am in crazy shap and my liver function is 44
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. It would have been better if you would have shared the entire liver function test report. However, presuming one of the enzyme level of liver to be 44 U/L, it can be inferred that it to be at a slightly higher than the upper limit of reference range. Based on the description, your fitness exercise seems to be good. Since alcohol can cause inflammation on liver and amount to its damage, it would be advisable to limit your consumption of wine by taking it less in quantity and frequency. Kindly consume less fat diet along with. It would be also advisable to supplement lipotrophic factors regularly to keep your liver healthy. Hope the information provided would be helpful.
