I read that report carefully and I understand your concern.

The report suggests a diagnosis of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) which means an infection of a woman’s reproductive organs. However an ultrasound exam doesn't make the diagnosis, the diagnosis is confirmed only if clinical manifestations of infection are present like pain, abnormal discharge, fever etc.

Otherwise it some minimal fluid could also normally be present in the POD (pouch of Douglas - the space between the back part of the uterus and the rectum) like after ovulation when there is some fluid and blood present when the ovarian follicle ruptures.

I hope to have been of help.
