What Does My Pelvic Ultrasound Report Indicate?
I had open myomectomy operation 5 weeks ago and my GP did some inveatigations last week as I had new pain since fourth week and my pelvic usg show muktiseptated free fluid of 4cmx2.2cmx1.8cm size under my Bikini line c section scar .What does it mean? on my second week I had munor wound redness and was put on cephlexin for a week and before this usg result ..My Gp was worried of Pelvic abscess /PID and ordered usg.I am really worried as this pain is new I went to Ed and they said followup is 6th and will observe until. Thanks

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the infection then it need to be treated with proper antibiotic and will get the good result else it may not be anything dangerous, have some rest once the wound heals then everything would be fine stop worrying hope this information helps.
