What Does My Peripheral Blood Smear Test Report Indicate?
Hi im jacky the findings of my peripheral blood smear test is the peripheral blood smear revealed a nomocytic, nomochronic red cell morphology. There are no nucleated red blodd cells seen. The white cell population is adequate with predominance of segmenters. There are no abnormal or immature cells seen. Platelets are adequate in smear. What does mean this all? Please reply asap...
Normocytic (normal size), normochromic (normal color) of red blood cells- this means that the red blood cells appear normal.
The white blood cells are also normal and there are no abnormal types of white blood cells seen which is good. Platelets were also normal as well according to the report.
The result indicates that there are no abnormalities seen
I hope this helps
