Hi the radiograpic report says hazy densities are noted in the left mid lung field. The rest of the lung fields are clear. Both hemidiaphragms and costophrenic sulcu are intact. The heart is within normal siZe. The rest of the included structures are unremarkable. Impression: Left mid lung pneumonia. Follow up suggested to rule out koch s etiology Pls help me to understand this. Thankyou much
my greeting, this chest Xray report indicating that you have inflammatory changes in your chest with some-sort of infection that may make you complain of cough, fever and/or expectoration(sputum), that explain the left mid lung pneumonia, and I think you should consult your physician to give suitable antibiotics to clean this pneumonia, and till now it is easy to be treated don't worry, but also you shouldn't neglect it, THANKS, Dr, Ayman
Hi I have gone through your radiograph report. Usually lung feild are radiolucent.hazi densities in left mid lung means fluid or inflammatory cells accumulate in lung replacing lung air causing haziness.this acculation is in response to infection.it is called pneumonia.remaining things are normal.they asked to follow up to roleout kochs means pulmonary tuberculosis.dont worry by seeing terminology. Thank you Regards Vasundhara
