Left kidney is normal size shape and position. There is an illdefined echogenic lesion in mid pole measuring approx. 4.5 x 4.9cms Rest of the renal parechymal and sinus echoes are normal. No calculus or obstructive upropathy is seen. Renal excursions with respiration are normal
It is important to know the reason why you got ultrasound scan done. The report shows a spherical area in the central portion of left kidney. Not much is described so it can be a complex cyst or a tumor. I suggest CT scan of abdomen to further evaluate the problem area.
