Hello. My daughter is 4 yrs old. Shes been fighting cancer neuroblastoma since last year. Now she is ok and the treatment has been ended. She had a port catheter in right jugular vein for chemotherapy and IV infusions. Now the problem is this that she has some visible superficial veins on her chest wall recently with no other symptoms. The CXR is normal.the dopler sonography would be done tomorrow for rule out of vein trombosis. The question is this that what are these visible veins and are they pathologic?
