Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Based on the semen analysis report you have posted, the following things can be inferred.
1. Volume is normal.
2.
Total sperm count is also within normal range.
3. Sperm motility is also good with 85% progressive.
4. Sperm morphology is not indicating good.
5. WBC with 2 to 4/HPF indicates there is no infection.
Sperm morphology is one factor that is considered to evaluate
male infertility. Sperm morphology could result due to following causes:
1. Excessive exposure to heat
2.
Substance abuse like drugs/smoking/alcohol, toxin exposure and medications
3. Radiation exposure
4. Surgery involving male reproductive tract or conditions like varicose veins
5. Testicular failure with anti-sperm antibodies
Kindly get tested for anti-sperm antibodies and avoid any of the above factors if present.
Take medications containing L-carnitine, CoQ10,
Alpha lipoic acid, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc containing medications for a month and repeat semen analysis to see for improvement.
Consult Infertility specialist with the report for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
