My mom had a stress test with cat scan her results state that there is not enough blood going thru her heart. She has a pacemaker and defib. She is recovering from a partial hip replacement. 1/14/15 and is home. What course of action should we take?
First and foremost, I would advice her to start moving around a little as soon as she can manage. Initially she can go to the washroom and make small movements around the house. This will make sure that she doesn't get bed sores and also will prevent thromboembolism.
Don't make her exert too much for now. Once she recovers from the hip replacement surgery, visit a cardiologist for an echocardiography and discuss the further course of action.
