What Does My Test Report Indicate?

What does it mean if you have a finding of Subtle mucosal thickening in both maxillary sinuses. Opacification of an anterior ethmoid air cell on the RIGHT. The maximal diameter of the mucosal thickening is in the anterior ethmoid air cell on the RIGHT measuring 7 mm.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there is mucosal thickening in both maxillary and right sided ethmoidal sinus.
2.Rest of the sinuses appears normal with air with in the cavities as mentioned.
3.In this case the treatment includes antibiotic treatment and a followup.
4.If there is no reduction and patient is much symptomatic with headache and any breathing difficulty operative is lastly indicated in this case.
5.That is FESS - functional endoscopic sinus surgery. But it seems early get through with simple treatment.
