What Does My Thyroid Function Test Report Indicate?
8 Years ago I had my Thyroid removed (not cancer) and ever since I have had no luck getting my medication right for the thyroid replacement. My tsh numbers continue to jump around. right now I am on 125 2 times a week and 112 5 days a week I am getting frustrated. Are there any other solutions
Your thyroid gland was removed (partial or full removal has not been mentioned here). As thyroid gland is not present, you need levothyroxinehormone replacement therapy and levothyroxine should not be stopped. Dose adjusted to keep TSH level below 5. I could not get your TSH value from history. Kindly provide full report with attachment to give more comments.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
