What Does My Transvaginal Ultrasound Result Indicate?
Just had a transvaginal ultrasound and here are the results...normal sized uterus with thickened endometrial stripe, normal ovaries, NEGATIVE ADNEXAE, MINIMAL CUL DE SAC FLUID. I had a check up this morning because chunky blood tissues and a fluid filled sac came out of my vagina. My doc said i had a miscarriage. Just want to know if i m clear and wil not require dilatation and curettage anymore? Thanks.
Most likely abortion is complete, but you need observation. It is important to observe for bleeding.Retained part of conception may cause persistent bleeding,so you need watchful observation. It is difficult to comment upon partial or total abortion at this stage. Ultrasound can be done if you have persistent bleeding. Most likely you will not require dilatation and curettage but it depend upon findings.
