Hi Dr; I m 32 and have ultrasound evaluation of pelvic as following: Through trans-abdominal Evaluation, uterine myometrium looked heterogeneous, with presence of 83*40 mm pedunculated fibroid RT lateral to the fundus of the uterus. Uterus size described as length: 6.3 cm, width 4.7 cm, and antero-posterior 4 cm.EEndometrial line looked normal and measured 9 mm.I want to know what s my problem and its treatment?!
You have a moderately sized fibroid in the uterus which is pedunculated, meaning it is having a stalk. This might be causing problems in your menstruation including irregular bleeding and associated pain. A pedunculated fibroid can be easily removed surgically and you may discuss the options with your doctor.
