What Does My Ultrasound Report Indicate?
my ultrasound report is back and this is what is says. The kidneys are normal is size and echogenicity. There is a 10 mm cyst at the mid lower pole of the left kidney and 1.5 cm cyst mid lower pole of the right kidney. Echogenicity visualized along the the periphery of the cysts may correspond to calcification. CT scan of the kidneys is recommended for further evaluation and characterization of the renal cysts. Are these cysts inside my kidneys and what does this all mean?

Cystic disease of kidneys more commonly seen in male patients over all clinical symptoms are matter of concern most of the time this remains silent thorough out the life, this is being taken for management when this is clinically have some manifestation else no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care.
