my brother done his ultrasound KUB and then the impression is nephrolitiasis right. then the clinic doctor, let him do the lab test for BUN, creatinine and micral test. and now the doctor again want to send him for ct stonogram. after stonogram, are there any other test to go?
Hi The sequential evaluation is usually done in evaluation of any disease.sonogram says nephrolitiasis to assess function of kidneys Dr asked BUN,creatinine.now your Dr adked CT sonogram to know anatomy and somes to know what type.dont worry they wont ask much.to know excreatory function some DR may ask intravenous pyelogram. Hi I have gone through your ultrasound reports. Right nephrolitiasis means calculi in right kidney. To know kidney function Dr asked BUN/creatinine.now ordered CT to know what type and to plsn nephrolithiasis.the other imaging modality to know excreatory function and patency of ureters is intravenous pyelogram ..sequential examination is good.dont worry.its good method of examination.
