My ultrasound says: what does it mean will this condition need surgery. I have the main problem of high frequecy of as short as 30 Mins sometimes. Prevoid volume meas~184cc. PVRU meas~80cc. Prostate is mildly enlarged in size (31 cc), median lobe projecting in to the base of bladder for ~13mm. No focal lesion is seen. OPINION: Mild prostatomegaly with significant PVRU.
Hello Dear US report shows that there is Prostatic enlargement present, Portion of it obstructing the void of urine fully from bladder. That is PVRU So to relieve the block, surgery is needed.
