What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

My ultrasound result stated. The uterus is retroverted with smooth contour and heterogenous echo pattern measuring 8.3x 5.3x 4.7 cm. The endometrium is hyperechoic and measures 0.8cm with intact subendometrial halo. Please kindly explain me this? I m already 53 yrs old, and my last monthly period was July 27, because as I know I m in menopausal period because of my ages. Thank you for explaining it to me what this means.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your ultrasound report, it states that the thickness of your uterus if within normal limits. It also says position of uterus which is retroverted normally. It also states dimensions of your uterus which is absolutely fine.

So no need to worry, it's absolutely Normal report.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
