Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Jan 2016 - tried force lifting my ATV and in turn a slight bulge on on lower left Groin area appeared with little discomfort - Ultra sound showed nothing and gradually went away. About 7 weeks ago in same spot without injury - general discomfort, burning dull ache - had CT Scan 3/17 - showed small hernia. Last night pain shifted to Lower Right Groin and is moderate Stabbing - no pattern but consistent. No Fever, No problem in the last weeks with Bowels, Also did pee test for Blood in urine and some other Blood Test at the time of CT Scan - results were only small hernia. Upper left Back Pain dull on left side only last few days as well. Was thinking maybe appendix but no other symptoms except lower right groing pain. Any thoughts?
Might be possible that there are underlying gravels or calculus in the urinary system which are not shown up on CT as that can be radiolucent in nature.
A CT with IVP is the best way to diagnose the same.
Before any proceedings, detailed pain history and physical examination are very vital here.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Purva Patel,
