What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

I had a miscarriage 7 weeks ago. Since then, I ve had to go for biweekly ultrasounds due to a fluid filled sac on the outside of my uterus. It s not shrinking nor getting bigger but I don t know if I should be concerned with it and I want to know what it is.

Dear madam,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic in such a situation.
I am sorry for the miscarriage, however I want to let you know that whatever the fluid filled sac outside the uterus might be, you should not worry about. Probably it represents a large ovarian cyst which may dissolve itself or under hormone therapy, or it may resemble free fluid vs blood in Douglas pouch (space between uterus and rectum) which will be spontaneously absorbed over time.
Hope this was helpful.
If there is some else you need to know, please feel free to ask.
Thank you.
Dr. Juarda
