My 25 year niece who is suspected of having PCOS had an ultrasound which showed three possible tumors one at 9, 11 and 4. She then had a needle biopsy done in the drs office which I told her that was not how it was done. She said it was terribly painful. She even went for a second opinion and the drs both said that she had pre-cancerous cells? Since she lives in Florida I have little faith in the physicians there could you tell me if this is the proper way to treat this situation.
