What Does My Ultrasound Scan Result Indicate?
Hi I ve been told after my ultrascan I had a 4cm & adjacent 3cm simple cyst then had MRI that I have lymph nodes on left groin and on the chain of the lymph nodes inside the vessels (left external iliac chain) I had a ca125 blood test & it came back normal my appointment with consultant isn t until end of February can u tell me anything to help me understand what s doing on etc?

1.The lymph nodal enlargement in the iliac chain can be due to infection / inflammation changes.
2.In should not be compulsory to be a malignant changes.
3.Simple cyst need a regular followup studies, and monitor for any changes.
4. A contrast study to evaluate the enhancement pattern.
5. Spectral study to evaluate the content and nature of the cyst.
