Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does My Ultrasound Sonography Test Report Indicate?
i am suffering from fatty liver and mild spleenomegaly (spleen length 11cm) which is found during USG my sgot sgpt is also high and trigliceride is 270. doctor prescribed me udiliv 300 twice a day for 3 weeks and Adilip 135 once a day for 1 month .Is it OK?my HB% is 12.5 which falls from 14 and my endoscopy and colonoscopy result is negative .OBT is negative .TIBC is 600. serum ferritin is 96. creatinin is 1.2 and urin RE/ME is normal.
Based on the history you have shared, the high sgpt can be due to fatty liver disease but other possibilities should also be ruled out. I suggest taking hepatitis serologies tests as well.
Some cholesterol-lowering drugs can also temporarily increase liver enzymes.
Meanwhile supportive treatment like lifestyle modification, exercises and dietary restrictions should be ensured.
Keep good hydration and continue the current medications and repeat fasting lipids profile after two months.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
