Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a ultrasound done in 20145 for abdominal pain finally picked it up , was scared of results . My fam. history has some cervical cancer in it . My results came back as a complex septic septated hemorrhagic cyst 2.2. c.m do I have anything to be worried about cancer wise?
You are having hemorrhagic cyst as per history. For that, you may need not to worry. You are having a family history of cervical cancer, so your regular screening in pap smear and pelvic examination should be done at 6 month or one-year interval.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
