What Does My Uterus Ultrasound Test Result For Irregular Vaginal Spotting Indicate?

i went for a scan because i was spotting in between periods and have a watery discharge that i have to wear a pad. the scan said there is a bulky non gravid measuring a heterogeneous echo texture 6.59*5.46*4.68cm. no fibroids or cysts are found in the myometrium. no masses or cycts seen in the adnexa. both ovaries are normal in shape and size. there is ne free fluid in the P.O D. The urinary bladder has a normal mucosal lining... so what does this mean? what causes the bulkiness and what could be causing my symptoms

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The bulkiness and intermittent discharge per vagina is indicative of vaginal or pelvic infection with hormone changes or else. In my clinic, I do recommend a complete hemogram and vaginal or cervical swab culture for best possible microbiology evaluation in this regard and best management guidance.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
