On plain x-ray there are 3 small well corticated cysts in the humeral head. I am 70 year old female in articles on the line I can only find this condition in relation to small boys. Diagnosis also described degerative disease in the left shoulder joint and in the acromioclavicular joint. Together with calcific tendinitis in the supraspinatus tendon and fluid and debris in subdeltois bursa some or all of those cause severe pain.
Are any of those condition reversible? Will rest improve the condition. Other then pain killers are any form of medication available without serious side effects
1.The cystic changes in the humeral head are seen as a degenerative changes - which are seen as a age related changes. 2.The report also suggest degenerative changes in the shoulder joint and the clavicle - also features of the degenerative changes. 3.The tendon calcification are also seen as a degenerative changes in the age related. 4.In this case rest is recommended with reduction of weight bearing and exercise recommended for shoulder joint. 5.The tendinitis and debris in the synovial fluid are the features of the infective aetiology. A synovial sample for cytology and biochemistry recommended to evaluate the pathogens. And can be treated accordingly.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
