On visiting my doctor yesterday, because I noticed I was getting breathless, I was advised an Xray, and some blood tests. The blood pressure was completely normal so my doctor did not think an ECG nor an Echo necessary. But he recommended the following blood tests : complete Haemoglobin, Peripheral smear and ESR, Liver Function Test Profile,Thyroid Profile,Renal Profile ,Blood sugar Random (Because I had not come on a fasting stomach). The Laboratory Investigations proved to be normal for Thyroid,Liver,Haemoglobin. Random blood sugar was 131. Renal profile showed everything in permitted parametres. But the Xray showed Bilateral broncho-vascular marking prominent and Cardiac size enlarged. Please give your views doctor. I am from India, female, aged 79, slim, no illness, have not been really walking since I lost my beloved German Shepherd in Jan. Broke my heart. Thanks, Gita Devi .
