What Does Nausea Along With Diarrhea And Vomiting Indicate?

My girlfriend is in the hospital. Her BAC was 0.0 when she was admitted. No ethanol. Not dehydrated. She had presented with fever, severe jaundice (eyes and skin), confusion. Previous symptoms include nausea, diarrhea, hic cups, vomiting, fatigue. Her bilirubin was 4 when admitted. Placed on IV steroids, antibiotics, fluid, vitamin B. In hospital urine was fruit punch red and reddish/orange and was getting nose bleeds. Clotting is at 2.5. Not on cumidin. No obstruction per ultra sound or gallbladder. Since then she has developed pneumonia and bilirubin ad of last labs were 20.
I am pushing to get her transferred as there is only a hospital specialist and this is a community hospital not equipt with resources. The Dr is saying that she has alcoholic onset hepatitis and chronic liver disease. I can’t help thinking that the Dr is missing something since bili has x5 since admissions
