What Does Negative Coagulase Staphylococcus In My Lab Test Report Suggest?
Hie,I have red flesh inside my vagina, l also have grey discharge a year now after I gave birth. I have been treated with antibiotic clindimacyn, erotin, ciprofloxacin but no change. I have tested VDS the results were written negative coagulase staphylococcus.i don t know what is it.please help
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
Staphylococcus are round shaped bacteria which are found in clusters or groups. These bacteria are classified on their ability to produce coagulase, an enzyme that causes blood clot formation. Therefore there are two types of staphylococcus bacteria one of which produce coagulase called coagulase positive staphylococcus & other being coagulase negative staphylococcus.
According to VDS results coagulase negative staphylococcus were found. There is nothing to worry as there are some coagulase-negative species of staphylococcus that is part of the normal vaginal flora. So this report should not be of mush concern according to me
Refer to a gynaecologist Hope this information helps
