What Does 'no Heart And Head Deformed' In An Ultrasound Mean?
went to ultra sound doc says no heart and head deformed and sent me for another ultra sound. Lady didn't say much to me I already confused. but she did first say she didn't see what he did, then did other vaginal test . finished and said you can talk to your doctor for results
Hello and welcome to HCM, You have not mentioned the site of ultrasound. However, this is probably a pelvic ultrasound done to see the growth and development of intra-uterine pregnancy. A period of gestation is required to assess the fetal ultrasound. The comments 'no heart and head deformed' implies that the fetus has not developed cardiac activity. Fetus without cardiac activity is called blighted pregnancy. Head deformities means that the head is deformed i.e. there is some abnormality in the shape and size of the head. You need to consult your obstetrician for further details and further management. A medical termination may be required in case of blighted pregnancy and other congenital defects.
