Can you explain this ?FINDINGS:Right knee: Normal anatomic alignment of the right knee is present. No fracture is seen. The medial femorotibial compartment is slightly decreased, with subtle hypertrophic spurring. The lateral femorotibial compartment is maintained. The patellofemoral joint space is minimally decreased. There is subtle lateral subluxation of the patella with posterior patellar subchondral cysts. No joint effusion is seen.Left knee: Normal anatomic alignment of the left knee is present. No fracture is seen. The medial and lateral femorotibial compartments are preserved. The patellofemoral joint space is maintained. There are subtle subchondral cysts of the posterior patella. No joint effusion is present.
right knee joint report indicates mild early degenerative changes, which usually are age related. left joint report is essentially normal. presence of joint effusion indicated there is fluid in the joint space which usually is abnormal. since you dont have any joint effusion, it is a good thing for you.
