What Does Non Reactive ELISA Test Result Post Possible Exposure Indicate?

Doctor for past 8 years I was having unhealthy relationship with many prostitutes. I have sex with many without condoms in thailand and bangalore.Now I am deeply love with a girl and she want to marry me. I have consulted doctor and have done pcr test and Elisa. In pcr result was not detected and Elisa was non reactive. Doctor assured me that I am negative. But I found it very strange to believe. Also that particular doctor has done test for other stds but all are negative. Can I believe that result

If the ELISA and PCR test for HIV are negative, then you can be assured that you are negative for HIV infection. However, the high risk behavior in future can put you in risk of HIV infection.
