Hi good morning Doc , I do medical and I have pending in x-ray the result I have non specific pneumonitis and I repeat x-ray because I done take medicine then the 2nd x-ray result is partial clearing of the left upper lung infiltrates this month the physician say I need a x-ray again after 1week this 3rd can you give me some advice so that I don t always repeat x-ray what the best medication to do...hope you help me
Continue to take the antibiotics you are taking as the pneumonia is responding and infiltrate is getting smaller. Sequential x-rays are needed to see the progress and response of disease and to prognosticate. Go for the x-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
