General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Dry eyes associated with feeling of numbness around your eye socket could be related to dry eyes syndrome. To exclude diabetic retinopathy, and taking into account your personal history of diabetes, I highly recommend to consult further with eye specialist.

Hope this helps.
