Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have for sometime had dry eye and it is mostly in my right eye. I blink a lot but I also have a feeling of numbness around the eye socket. I have been reading different things and I wonder if it could be neuropathy. I am a diabetic and I have diabetic neurophy in my feet. What do you suggest
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Dry eyes associated with feeling of numbness around your eye socket could be related to dry eyes syndrome. To exclude diabetic retinopathy, and taking into account your personal history of diabetes, I highly recommend to consult further with eye specialist.
Hope this helps.
