General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your daughter seems to be suffering from nerve injury apparently caused by a pinched nerve. A pinched nerve occurs when there is compression (pressure) on a nerve. The pressure could be due to holding the body in one position for long periods, such as keeping elbows bent while sleeping.

So, I advise you to take her to a doctor for proper clinical examination and treatment which may include physiotherapy and certain medications like gabapentin or pregabalin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
