I am writing on behalf of my daughter who is actually 29 years old and capable of doing it herself - but I am concerned for her - she is not too concerned yet. She is having a sensation in her left ovary/colon area that she describes as a feeling like your foot is asleep . She says it is not painful and not all the time but quite often and has been going on since 1st of December. I am concerned because her maternal grandfather had colon cancer and also her paternal aunt died of some form of undiagnosed cancer at age 56. The doctor she did go to said this could be caused by a cyst or her ovary but I am trying to determine what her course of action should be. She is in grad school and has a lot to worry about so getting to doctor is not priority
