What Does On And Off Blood In Urine Post Unprotected Sex Suggest?

I m not sure if I need an OBGYN/Gynecologist to answer my question or not but here it goes. I am sexually active (I m a female who has been on birth control for about 6 months) and have unprotected sex with my boyfriend regularly. We were sexually active a few days ago (The last time he and I had unprotected sex before that was about 3 1/2 weeks ago) and 2 days after that, I noticed that when I peed that morning, there was blood. I had to pee every minute or two as well and it wasn t even an actual flow, it was a couple drops of pee. There was no blood in my vagina whatsoever, the blood only came out through urine. Later that day, no more blood. It just randomly stopped. Now a day later (today), around 6pm, I noticed that when I peed, there was blood. I m very confused as to what is going on. I ve never had this problem while on the pill, or in general.

Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

from your history. you may be having urinary tract infection which is unrelated to intercourse. you may need to consult a physician and give your urine for testing. based on the test report the treatment could be started.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
