What Does Orange And Dark Brown Colored Urine Suggest?

My husband is passing orange and dark brown urine. He has a history f drinking but we are noot sure that tthis is the problem. WWe just returned from a vacation cruise where he drank quite a bit. Is there anything we can do? He is not in immediate pain, we are just worried until we can get into our physician

Hi,

If your husband is not on any medication which can discolor the urine then you need to rule out liver or gall bladder condition which can cause the discoloration. Please ensure that he is not dehydrated as it can also cause discoloration of urine.
