What Does Pain Above The Hips On The Left Side Indicate?

I am having a lot of pain on my lower left side just above my hip , more like my waist. the pain wraps around from left side of my back around to my lower abdomen. The pain comes in waves , from a severe stab to no pain at all. When it happens it is very painful. Please help . Email address: YYYY@YYYY

The pain you are describing is suggestive of ureteric stones. Please be advised to follow up with the urgent care to undergo urine analysis, culture and Xray abdomen to confirm the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, drink plenty of water and take buscopan 10 mg thrice daily for pain.
