What Does Pain And Numbness In The Soles And Toes Indicate?

I wore shoes with insoles that hurt the bottom of my feet a couple of weeks ago. The next day I noticed that I was no longer able to move the last two toes in my left foot. It has been about 10 days. I do not have any pain in my foot but feel a little bit of numbness around those two toes, and still cannot move them. I am wondering if if this is temporary or needs medical attention. Thank you Y. General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is likely temporary.

There may be temporary nerve damage in this area. Permanent nerve damage usually occurs if nerves are cut/severed.

Since this would not have occurred, healing is expected though it can sometimes take weeks for nerves to repair themselves

I hope this helps
