What Does Pain And Pulling Sensation In The Pelvis Indicate?
I was having sharp, stabbing pelvic pain with a pulling sensation on my lower right side. My gyn did a pelvic exam and felt what she thought was a fibroid so my Dr. ordered an ultra sound. The results say a 1.3cm x 1.1cm hypoechoic area in the body of the uterus has appearance of an intramural fibroid. The endometrial complex measures 4mm in thickness. I am 54 and postmenopausal, with no bleeding. Should I have any concerns?
"As"per your clinical history is concerned you have a fibroid and if it causes problem for you in future then you can discuss with your treating doctor about [Hysterectomy] as you are post menopausal stage now. If no pain then no problem at all and it will shrink as your hormonal level decreases.
Hope that helps
