What Does Pain And Swelling In The Lower Abdomen And Back Indicate?
I ve had this for over 3 days. I have uncomfortable pain in my lower right side, swelling and my back is bothering me. I really don t want to go to the ER because I lost my insurance in January. I thought maybe appendix, but it s over 72 hours. I also don t have a fever or feel sick.

For reaching up to diagnosis USG abdomen scan should be done. It can be subacute appendicitis or diverticulitis like condition. Further management plan decided according to diagnosis.
For diverticulitis, fiber diet taken more and if needed broad spectrum antibiotic course prescribed and drink more water. Consult the physician for examination.
